Typically, hand engraving a set of four tires with prototype profile, takes 3 to 5 days by a specialist, a slow and error-prone process. Now, imagine a system where a laser performs all the engraving fully automated in a fraction of the time, every single groove with an accuracy of a tenth of a millimeter in depth. The FlexCutter Tyre is Zenna’s advanced, precise, and agile laser machine, specifically developed to carve and engrave both the tread and sidewall of prototype tires. With the FlexCutter Tyre, the entire process takes just 5 to 7 hours, significantly reducing the time required to produce a tire profile. Once the desired patterns are created using our powerful FeatherCAD software, or imported as a .dxf file, they are loaded into the laser system, and the machine is ready to begin.
